Who is thinking of the innocent, sweet Walt Disney deer when hearing the name Bambi, is totally of the mark. Bambi Lovedoll is an alternative PinUp model. Sometimes wicked, sometimes sexy, then cheeky and always with a wink. Her new calendar has just been released and we are really happy to ask a few questions to the confident German model.

Gerade ist ihr neuer Kalender erschienen und wir freuen uns sehr, dem selbstbewussten deutschen Model ein paar Fragen zu stellen.

In your eyes- when is a woman beautiful?
When she has self confidence, is neat and has beautiful teeth. I like beautiful teeth.

In an interview I read that you spend about 40-50 hours a week with your job as a model. Has it become routine to you or are you still excited about what you do?
The moment where shooting becomes a daily routine, nothing creative can emerge anymore. Of course I approach situations before and after the shooting (and Photoshop) with  more experience, but if there ain´t no more heart´s blood then my days as Bambi Lovedoll are numbered.

Your utterly desire for a shooting/ scene/ photograph?
I would love to do an underwater shooting. In the 6 years that I have been working as a model, I never managed to do so. Preferably in a long, white dress.

Wann ist eine Frau schön für dich? Wenn sie Selbstbewusstsein hat, gepflegt ist und schöne Zähne hat. Ich stehe auf schöne Zähne.

In einem Interview mit dir hab ich gelesen, dass du ca. 40-50 Stunden Zeit in der Woche in deinen Modelberuf steckst. Mittlerweile Arbeitsalltag oder noch immer reizvoll? In dem Moment, in dem shooten zum Alltag wird kann nichts kreatives mehr entstehen. Sicher gehe ich mittlerweile routinierter mit gewissen Situationen vor und während des Shootings (und Photoshop) um, aber wenn ich kein Herzblut mehr in die Sache stecke sind die Tage von Bambi Lovedoll gezählt.

Absolutes Wunsch- Shooting / Szene / Photograph? Ich würde gerne mal ein Unterwassershooting machen. Das habe ich in den ganzen 6 Jahren die ich jetzt als Model arbeite nicht ein einziges Mal hinbekommen. Am liebsten in einem weißen, langen Kleid.

Is there any kind of photo that you would say No to?
There is plenty of photo ideas that I refuse. In general there are no pictures of me where I have to insert anything anywhere. And that´s final. Always. But I also refuse dressed or nude pictures if I don´t agree with the idea. No matter who is the photographer and what the fee would be, for example: Never with real fur.

Do you have any style icon?
I admire the style of many woman. If I sponteanously have to chose one, I would chose  Kate Lanphear when it comes to clothes and for clothes worn underneath I would chose Dita von Teese.

Which tattoo is the most important one to you? Is there any tattoo that you wouldn´t do again nowadays?
The most important ones are both of the cherry pairs that I have on my ankles, because I did those for my parents. As a matter of course I would refrain from doing my very first tattoo, the tribal on the outside of my right ankle. But being 13 at that time I could have chosen worse and I am not annoyed when I look at it.

Hast du eine Stilikone? Es gibt ganz viele Frauen, deren Stil ich bewundere. Wenn ich mich jetzt spontan für eine entscheiden müsste, würde ich mich wohl für Kate Lanphear entscheiden, was die Klamotten für drüber anbelangt und Dita von Teese für die Sachen die man drunter trägt.

Welches Tattoo ist dir persönlich am wichtigsten? Gibt es ein Tattoo, das du heute nicht mehr machen würdest? Am wichtigsten sind mir die beiden Kirschenpaare an meinen Knöcheln, da ich mir diese für meine Eltern habe stechen lassen. Ich würde heute selbstverständlich auf mein erstes Tattoo verzichten, das Tribal an der Außenseite meines rechten Knöchels. Aber die Wahl hätte mit 13 auch schlimmer ausfallen können und ich ärgere mich nicht, wenn ich es sehe.

Gibt es irgendeine Art von Photo zu dem du nein sagen würdest? Es gibt ganz viele Photoideen die ich ablehne. Generell gibt es keine Bilder von mir auf denen ich mir irgendwas irgendwohin stecke. Dabei wird’s bleiben. Immer. Aber auch angezogene Bilder oder Aktaufnahmen lehne ich ab, wenn mir die Idee nicht zusagt. Egal welcher Fotograf und zu welchem Honorar auch immer, beispielsweise: niemals im echten Pelz.

Tell something to our readers that they would have never thought about you…
I still take my laundry to my mum´s place. Except the towels, that I wash by myself, but everything else my mum does. Yes, also the stained sheets. I simply don´t have time to iron and nothing can beat  freshly washed and nice-smelling laundry that you take out of your cupboard.

„Willkommen im Bambiland“  (Welcome to Bambiland) – is your first book. What kind of feedback were you especially happy about? And do you have a new book in the works?
Oh yes, my new calender 2012 is out! Watch out! I was mostly pleased about meeting  Henryk M. Broder for dinner, thanks to the book. A great guy.

Erzähl unseren Lesern etwas über dich was sie nicht gedacht hätten? Ich bringe noch immer meine Wäsche zu Mutti. Bis auf Handtücher, die wasche ich selbst, aber alles andere macht Mutti sauber. Ja, auch die fleckigen Laken. Ich habe einfach keine Zeit zum bügeln und es gibt nichts besseres, als Wäsche, die frisch gewaschen und gebügelt und duftend aus dem Kleiderschrank genommen werden kann.

„Willkommen im Bambiland“ – dein erstes Buch. Welches feedback hat dich besonders gefreut? Und hast du schon ein neues Buch in Planung? Oh yes! Gerade ist mein neuer Kalender für das Jahr 2012 erschienen. Und ja, am meisten gefreut hat mich, dass ich mich aufgrund des Buches mit Henryk M. Broder zum Abendessen treffen konnte. Ein großartiger Typ. 

Wow, that is cool. What did you eat and besides your book- what have you been talking about?
We met in the Frankfurt area around the station for Chinese food and we spoke about on what I pay attention to in my future husband. Mr. Broder said that my criterias are indeed satisfiable. Let´s hope so, by goodness.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
Hopefully already on a farm or shortly before moving there.
