When technology puts his foot onto the field of fashion – that’s what I said at the end of the haute couture show of Franck Sorbier. Indeed, instead of a normal presentation, we were treated to a scene of a model wearing a white dress with her hands on the back and remaining without moving during the presentation of the fifteen dresses designed by the creator. Through technology shafts of sunlight, butterflies and flowers were thrown on that white dress, dressing it literally. This premiere is primarily a technological feature made possible by powerful software and a method for 3D video mapping.Fashion danced with technology. Amazing, astounding, breathtaking, – I do not know exactly what to think other than: “Wow! This is very different and you really had the courage.”
