Artist Gordon Holden teamed up with California based photographer Julian Martin and Model Alden Steimle to realize this consume cool campaign exclusively shown here on C-Heads. “HOW DO WE CONSUME COOL?” is the question that Gordon asks himself and comes up with some pretty interesting observations. “The actual concept for Consume Cool was to try and run with the big dogs in the idea of branding by using one of, if not the most popular, branding identities in the world. In these modern days, people aren’t drawn to something that is interesting; they’re drawn to something that is identifiable. And to get someone’s attention, use what they already know and can relate to in a popular sense.” If you want to read more about how he deals with “what is cool” you can read here. We love the shooting, the idea behind it and we definitely wouldn´t mind to consume one of those cool shirts.
