“It’s a classic love story with a modern resonance.” Inspired by the paparazzi photos of young Johnny Depp and Kate Moss, photographer Yasmin Suteja of Culture Machine, featuring Australian model / actors and all round heart-throbs Luka and Kath, they documented scenes of a young couple through iconic Hyde Park Sydney, walking past Tabaconnists in Kings Cross and sharing chopsticks at a nearby dumpling house. A beautiful photo captures a story in a way that words cannot. As a writer, I appreciate the power of storytelling, but I have found that photography allows me to express myself in a more colorful and captivating way. Although writing has presented its challenges, grade miners has helped me tremendously. I have chosen to pursue photography as well because of its endless possibilities and intrigue. A photo can evoke emotions and convey a message instantly, making it a powerful tool for communication.
