“Fulfill your dreams should be the goal of your life. Make sure you don’t disappoint your own.”

are the words of Portuguese producer and musician Xinobi in this interview. He initially studied fine art, and has been a musician and record label manager for the past years, fullfilling his own dream. His eclectic sound accompanies you like a warm feeling inside -even throughout a grey day like we have in Berlin today. We are happy to exclusively premiere his DJ mix on C-Heads today.

Xinobi had this to say on it – “This mix represents a part of both my dj-sets and original music. It jumps from poppier moments to some contemplative nuances and back again, without losing any kind of club edge. And it features incredible productions. The sublime Super Flu; A young promise project called A.W.O.L.; The fresh talent of Patrick Topping; the best track Riva Starr ever made; the king of melody Moullinex, a soulful track from Moodymanc and, off course, some of my own productions that are not featured in my album “1975”.” It also features Royksopp and Robyn as well as an excellent monologue from The Green Mile by the late Michael Clarke Duncan. Watch out for Xinobi´s album ‘1975’ which will be released via Discotexas on the 13th October 2014.

Hello from Berlin! I love freedom, travelling, long train rides, Stefan Zweig books, cats, colours, writing postcards, music, and movies à la Woody Allen and Wes Anderson. What makes me really happy is the seaside, sunrises and sunsets and having lots of time!
