Who could expect that Prague is one of the right places to be if you are into techno music. After the visit of names like Vril or Rodhad another very interesting artist with a remarkable sound is coming over here– Samuel Kerridge.

In just a short space of time, UK-born Samuel Kerridge has proven to have an instinctive knack for conjuring dark alien worlds of unfamiliarity. His 2012 EP Auris Interna landed on Horizontal Ground to much critical acclaim, directly leading to two releases on Regis’ Downwards label. Somewhere between industrial sound exploration, machinic techno inflections and swampy grooves, Kerridge’s aesthetic is its own curiosity. His 2013 album A Fallen Empire delves even further into the reverb-drenched abyss of his psyche, full of growling noise and mutating beats. Maintaining a distinctly rhythmic pulse, Kerridge’s music also challenges the status quo of the dancefloor: a challenge that he also explores with his Contort club nights in Berlin. Besides Samuel you can also look forward to great support djs: Elektrabel live, Nina Pixel, Unclean, Mike.H.
