“The Last March Before Victory” is the title of SOPOPULAR Spring/Summer 2016 collection, that will open this years´ Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Berlin. Inspired by the contemporary Asia, especially by the Japanese culture and Far Eastern martial art, we are sure that the Berlin label will stick to its known coolness and surprise us with the realization of those new influences. „The initial idea came unexpectedly at the beginning of this year in Paris, when I discovered an incredible thread construction. In combination with my yearslong love for the Japanese culture – from the food to the mentality and the style – the idea of the new collection was born. Japanese people are more couragious and love to discover fashion for themselves. The individuality of Japanese is just incredible.” says Daniel Blechman about his inspiration. Another highlight is the advanced collaboration with the French shoe producer Palladium, where exclusive styles will be shown on the runway.
