What role does a healthy life style play in being a model these days? “I think living a healthy lifestyle is extremely important if you want to be a successful model. It is important for anyone, but especially as a model you live a very last minute and fast paced lifestyle that requires a lot of traveling and work and all of that can take a toll on your body if you don’t take care of yourself. One of the best parts about modeling is that it actually becomes your job to take great care of yourself. However, I also think that it is important because you are a role model to the public, whether you like it or not, and I want everyone to always realize that your health comes first. And healthy does not often equate to what society calls “skinny.” Skinny should not be your focus, but healthy. Whether you are naturally a size 4 or 14, you must take care of your body the best way you can to live a long and prosperous life. It’s not just about “do I look pretty?” because what does pretty matter if your body and soul are deteriorating? Get the most out of your life and be the best you that you can be! I think that it is so extremely special that there is only one of you, and there will only ever be one of you. You are truly one of a kind, so treat yourself as such. Nourish yourself from the inside out. If all you are doing is worrying just about how your exterior looks, you are missing all that there really is to life.” Iman
