One morning at Mary-mai’s home in Paris photographed by Ray Litsala. + We had a 5 minutes chat with the gorgeous wild child about what she loves most about herself, what she expects from life and where we can find her on a Saturday night.
What do you like most about yourself?
I would say my eyes, it is really the part of my body I prefer to express myself with.
Which person has influenced you the most?
Nefertiti. laughs. But more seriously .. hum, difficult, there are so many people who have influenced me during my short life, so to mention only one would be complicated. I let myself be influenced by all the people bringing positivity to my life.
What makes a meaningful life?
It just has to be the fact, to wake up the morning, to get up and be happy about doing something because we all have a purpose in life. Aimless and without cravings I think life can not make sense.
And what do you expect from life?
I hope that life gives me a lot of good things and is full of unicorns and lots of pink elephants with wings. laughs. No honestly – I do not know what to expect from life now, I just hope to be able to somehow express myself with what I do as good as I can.
What makes you feel good? To eat?! Sun, good humor, I also like to find myself quietly at home with my friends.
And what makes you feel sad ? I am an eternal optimist
Favorite food? Rice cooked by my mother, and right behind that follows, all sorts of pasta such as with chicken, or meat.
Favorite book? I’m a crazy of Fantastic fiction, biography, drama. I spend half of the time of my life reading books.
Favorite movie? Interstellar – I think I watched it least 18 times
Where and with whom can we find you on a Saturday night?
Surely going partying with friends. I work a lot during the week, so on Saturday there is little chance to find me at home, but I think because I am quite petite, I get tired quickly and at two o’clock it’s already over for me. laughs.
