I am in love with Naaz. Ever since I have heard “Words” by her, it has happened to me. The 19-year-old singer with Kurdish roots really stands out from the masses of mainstream boredom music. Her new song “Can’t” seamlessly merges with the fragility, depth and magic to her last release. “The song is about things that we want, but can not have,” says Naaz. “I have written it out of a romantic perspective, but at the same time is also about a difficult time in my past where I was not allowed to pursue my dreams.”
