Things have been looking up for Canadian producer Robotaki. After an exciting 2017, which included his breakthrough on the streaming platforms and a successful North American run with Manila Killa, the Québécois is gearing up for what he hopes to be his best year yet. His first strike this year comes in the form of “Together We’re Screwed,” a triumphant synth pop number, that is equally as syncable as it is dancefloor-ready. Complete with a dreamy top-line from Nevve, who has established herself as a fixture in the electronic pop scene, the shimmering production is now available for your ears below.

“This song started as a remix but I loved the instrumental so much I wanted to keep it. We tried singer after singer but nothing clicked. One day Nevve sent over some ideas, and with her voice, it instantly clicked. To me, the dynamic across the lows and highs in this track reflect the complexities of love, the tribulations of lust, and everything that falls in between. The turn of the new year has me feeling good, and like now is the right time to put this out in to the world.”
