Finding balance between bitter and sweet is one of the most universally appealing human concepts.

On his new EP, “Anywhere But Here”, Mielo takes you through his own personal accounts of human emotion, both the highs and lows. Stimulating in both thematics and sonics, the four song collection employs both wide shimmering soundscapes, as well as intimate vocal performances, blending contemporary pop and electronic music. In celebration of his new material, the Chicago-based producer will be taking his live set to select markets in the upcoming months.

“These songs are special to me because in my eyes, they are the next steps to getting where I finally want to be. I hope some people can relate to it.”

“The Anywhere But Here EP is a collection of songs I made when I was in the most uncomfortable transitional points of my career. These songs are special to me because in my eyes, they are the next steps to getting where I finally want to be. I made this music for me, and I hope some people can relate to it.”
