Smallpools and morgxn take a moment to breathe on “slowdown”

Sometimes you need to take a step back and look at the big picture.

Simply, and eloquently, that’s what “slowdown” is about. Indie pop titans Smallpools and morgxn have joined forces for their latest single, and it could not come at a better time. Held down by an undeniable bass groove, and thumping four-on-the-floor drums, “slowdown” is the perfect supplement for dancing the quarantine blues away, without losing perspective. It’s a friendly reminder that this too shall pass, and when it does don’t be in such a hurry next time.

“”slowdown’ is a song that will hopefully speak to everyone during this unsettling moment in history. collectively, we’re used to living in a fast paced society but now we are all being forced to slow down and self reflect.”
