“I am so excited to finally be releasing this as my first release of the year. It’s a track I have been playing for a long time, and gets such a good response every time I play it. Its quite a personal track, about how I feel about music. With EXHALE back in Ibiza this summer, I couldn’t be happier to know I’ll be connected with all our community again, and I hope that everyone gets a chance to come and dance with me. See you all very soon!” says Amelie Lens, reflecting to us on the nature of her art and the community it fosters.

She continues to elaborate on the charm and allure of the famed party island in an interview with DJ Mag, where she said, “I think Ibiza is an island that fits with every mood you have, whether you feel like going alone to a beach or going hiking, or maybe you want to go out to meet a lot of people. Whatever mood you are in, you can always find the perfect thing to do in Ibiza.”

“Ibiza feels like our summer reunion where our community comes from near and far.

“I often hear that the island has changed a lot over the years, but I still think that Ibiza has a huge impact on the new generation. Even when the older generation says it’s not how it used to be anymore, but the energy is still magical. Like anywhere you go, it’s always what you make of it.”

For Amelie, the connection with music and its followers is an essential component. She imbues her work with the energy of shared experience and builds community through shared enjoyment and participation. With ‘Feel It’, the artist once again extends her invitation to the dance floor, a summons imbued with the earnest longing for shared moments and heartfelt connections of the techno community.

Hello from my planet! I love nature, freedom, dancing, traveling, music, reading, chilling, cats and the woods. What makes me happy is healthy food, a good night out, long walks in the forest and getting lost in the sound of nature.
