“No polished plan, just a goal to find lunch before their flight and take photos en route. Between getting lost and taking turns leading the way, Shaira turned the most mundane and often overlooked sites into raw movie-like backdrops. I had no role to play but myself — in my own skin and clothes. It was most freeing and fun playing around the iconic ice cream truck and lounging on a set of retired vintage chairs. After a year of not seeing each other, we had conversations through uninhibited poses and calculated camera shutters.” – Zam
