Sometimes, the right song comes into your life exactly when you need it most. “Know You Better” by Lisabel & Levina is one of those songs, reflecting on self-growth and personal transformation. While the theme of self-reflection can sometimes feel overdone, there are moments in life when you’re grasping for clarity, unsure of your next steps or even your own feelings. It’s in those moments that this song resonates, highlighting the beauty of change and healing. Coming to terms with yourself can be tough—it often pushes you to your limits—but it’s also where true understanding begins.

Lisabel and Levina, two London-based singer-songwriters, have created a track that embodies these very feelings. “Know You Better” is a song that encourages listeners to lean into those moments of uncertainty and embrace the process of growth. The track blends soulful pop with electronic and choral elements, creating a unexpectedly fresh sound that supports the intimate, reflective nature of the lyrics. I totally love the refrain—it feels cinematic, almost like it belongs in a movie, adding an extra layer of emotion to the song.

Both artists have carved their own paths in music. Levina, with a career that began in 2017, is known for her introspective lyrics and distinctive soundscapes, while Lisabel’s blend of contemporary soul, jazz, and pop has captivated audiences through both her songwriting and live performances. “Know You Better,” produced by Nikola Kovacevic, reflects the duo’s commitment to creating music that not only sounds good but also resonates deeply with their audience. As Lisabel puts it, “The song is about a version of ourselves that’s living a more balanced, peaceful life with less internal battles and self-doubt. It symbolizes our growth constantly in motion and the strength we all need to live life on the right track.”

Hello from my planet! I love nature, freedom, dancing, traveling, music, reading, chilling, cats and the woods. What makes me happy is healthy food, a good night out, long walks in the forest and getting lost in the sound of nature.
