Lyrical Lemonade’s Summer Smash 2025 is unfortunately over but this year’s festival definitely created memories for the attendees they will never forget.
Hosting more than 100,000 fans at Seatgeek Stadium in Bridgeview, IL, fans had the chance to watch 60+ performers, at 3 different stages all with their own energy and vibe. On top of the performances there were 30 food options, to include a Midwest favorite, Harold’s Chicken. If attendees wanted to get out of the 95 degree weather, the “chill tent” offered an AC’d oasis.
When it came to the performers, the headliners put on a spectacle of course; but it was the Chicago natives who gave the festival life with special performances from Chance The Rapper, and G Herbo. The World’s Largest independent Hip-Hop Festival made it possible for attendees to taste, see, and hear such a wide array of things. And lastly, for the first time since 2022, Young Thug took the stage and he didn’t do it alone; bringing out Ken Carson, TI, and Travis Scott. The entire festival topped off their 3-day experience with a spectacle.
Lyrical Lemonade and Spkrbx continue to put a spotlight on the hip-hop culture within the Chicago community and broader. This year, same as last years placed attendees at the forefront of what hip-hop currently is and highlighted Summer Smash will continue to grow until its the largest festival in Chicago.
