The sun didn’t show up that day. The typical Parisian house was stripped back to its essentials, a quiet space that felt almost weightless — perfectly in tune with the vision of Manlio, living in the Swiss Alps, not too far from Milan. His work moves along the line where intimacy meets analog texture, where film grain, light, and skin blend into imagery that remains raw, timeless, and close. “Through minimal setups and vintage lenses, I aim to capture moments that feel both fragile and enduring.” And so does this series with Sofia, a French model based in Paris — a slow, unhurried moment where everything narrows down to her presence.
