On Friday, November 14th, ImageNation Paris opened its vernissage at Galerie Joseph le Palais, marking the beginning of their full Paris 2025 programme.
Visitors were first welcomed by the velvety textures and saturated tones of the Polaroids exhibition. Just beyond it, the ground floor continued with WAVE – the photography exhibition created in collaboration with C-Heads Magazine, where we selected a group of photographers to showcase their work. With our selection, we wanted to bring forward what reflects C-Heads – the understated beauty of the female form and the moments that become visible around it.
And together, Polaroids and WAVE introduced the themes that resonate throughout the building, setting a tone of intimacy, presence, and attentive observation.
Moving upward, the exhibition Youth on the first floor opened a path into memory. Its images touched on nostalgia, early discoveries, and the open question of “What will we become?” From there, the transition into Just Women + Mujeres felt just natural. Nearby, the works from Street Sans Frontières offered a shift of perspective, placing human stories within side street markets, and commuter platforms.
The second floor presented the collection New Eyes, offering a look at a new generation of photographers. Their works carried a sense of curiosity: images built on exploration, experimentation, and the early formation of a personal visual language.
In the garden level gallery, Atlas of Humanity brought together portraits from a broad range of communities. The series invited slow looking — an attentive recognition of difference and similarity, and of how faces can tell stories that sit outside of time.
Across all floors, the exhibition traced themes of resilience, identity, difference, and the act of seeing. What connected everything was a shared sense of creation — an invitation to step closer and to engage with photography beyond the screens through which we often encounter it today.
