A sweet punch of flirty honesty: ‘Honey’ by Bonnie Freechild

In a world that makes falling in love feel like a risk sport, Honey offers a sugar-coated swing at the confusion. Sweet, like honey – but with a little sting. The new track by Bonnie Freechild flirts with fantasy, limerence, and emotional vulnerability, balancing sultry vocals and raw DIY production with a wink and a grin. “Honey feels like that 3am tipsy text you might regret. Flirty, honest, sultry vocals. Harmonies a little Mariah meets the cheek of FLETCHER with the smooth ache of Snoh Aalegra.”

“I’m always looking for authenticity.” In Conversation with Florian Picasso

Some interviews you genuinely look forward to — and this one with Florian Picasso was exactly that. Of course, part of that excitement comes from his name. There’s something about it that instantly pulls you in, makes you curious. As I press play on Till I’m Dead, the bass rolls in, groovy and round, pulling me under like a current. It’s addictive. It makes you want to dance. And I realize again how much I love this kind of beat.

“I’ve dared much more to simply be.” Vanessa Wagner – A Dialogue in Sound and Light

There’s a stillness that pulses beneath repetition. A tension that builds in simplicity. In Étude No. 2, Philip Glass offers a space where restraint becomes poetry, and French pianist Vanessa Wagner enters it with luminous clarity, shaping each phrase with intimacy and breath. Known for her virtuosity and unmistakable elegance, Wagner brings rare refinement to everything she touches.

On top of the performances there were 30 food options, to include a Midwest favorite, Harold’s Chicken. If attendees wanted to get out of the 95 degree weather, the “chill tent” offered an AC’d oasis.

Glastonbury and ‘Love’s Elixir’: A busy week for Bristol’s Sig Sali

Strapping in for a big 2025, Bristol’s Sig Sali is out with his second track in as many months with “Love’s Elixir.” The single comes in the form of an electro pop scape not unlike his compatriots The 1975’s I like it when you sleep… era, but with dashes of American icons like Jon Bellion or Owl City as well.

Caswell is reborn on new single ‘Final Call’

After a pair of new singles in the back half of 2024, British alt-popster Caswell is back with her latest, “Final Call.” The Suffolk-based singer-songwriter aims to make light of the dark, exploring the concept of being born again, not metaphorically, but physically – through reincarnation.

Behind the Beats: Mr Sosa on Depth, Drift, and Undetected Plagiarism

The music of Mr. Sosa is going deep. And it’s soft, yes — but not in a fragile way. More like a tide. Quietly pulling you under until you forget where you started. “I like music that hits you hard in any way,” he tells us, reflecting on the emotional undercurrent that runs through his debut album Undetected Plagiarism.

Between Places and Memories: Notre Dame’s Recollection EP

There’s something quietly powerful about the feeling of home — not just as a place, but as a sense of being grounded, understood, and fully yourself. It’s that feeling Notre Dame returns to again and again in his work, even as his career takes him across cities, continents, and time zones. Beneath the surface of pulsing beats and melodic builds, there’s always a search for connection — to memory, to belonging, to something real.

Jakke Invites Us Back to Ourselves with Without Peace

Having this conversation with Jakke felt like more than just chatting about a new release. It was one of those moments that stays with you—a quiet exchange filled with little reminders about life. If you want to call them life lessons, maybe that’s what they were. The kind that come back again and again, even when we think we’ve already learned them.

Premiere: Benni – Coma, Stripped Back to the First Feeling

“The EP is made up of seven tracks, all tied together by the highs and lows of an intense love story.” It’s a sentence that opens a door — and listening to Bleeding Colours, you feel exactly that. These songs don’t accompany your day like background noise; they ask for your full attention. They pull you into a space where emotions swell without apology, where nothing is rushed or held back.

Inside Hotel Living with 1tbsp: A Temporary Escape in Six Tracks

There’s something strangely comforting about being in a hotel room — surrounded by unfamiliar furniture, behind walls that have held thousands of lives for a night or two. It’s quiet, but never truly still. The hum of a hallway. A distant knock. A song playing softly from a room that isn’t yours. It’s that blend of anonymity and intimacy that threads through 1tbsp’s latest release, Hotel Living, a six-track EP that feels like breathing in fresh air after a too-long stay in the same place.

Fifteen Years of Gov Ball Magic: Connection, Rainbow and Festival Fever

For its 15th year, The Governor’s Ball showcased why it’s one of New York’s biggest and best Music Festivals. Hosting over 50,000 people, Governor’s Ball flawlessly created an atmosphere full of culture and amazing music (for the first and last day). Unfortunately, day 2 was riddled with rain and a 4 hour delay that caused some harsh feelings in people. However, despite the thunderstorms, festival-goers had the opportunity to see all of their favorite artist back-to-back-to-back under a rainbow if they chose to.
