Information
For layout- reasons we generally reserve the right to crop pictures of a publication or to modify the image section at our discretion. There is no entitlement of financial compensation or claim through a publication on C-Heads. Furthermore mind, that assurance for admission in an issue is no subject to legal liability. We reserve the rights to remove entries for layout-or content reasons at short notice or subsequently without providing further information. We don´t assume responsibility or liability for infringement of a copyright, that come up through on the part of the artist provided images, text or audio- material. C-Heads assumes no responsibility for financial, material or emotional harm that emerges through a publication on C-Heads.com.
Submissions
By participating in the C-Heads project known as ‘C-Heads Magazine’ its affiliates and assigns the right for C-Heads.com to publish and use the contents in the flash-based issues of C-Heads.com and the third-party supplier Issuu.com (you can find their conditions here), on the website C-Heads.com itself for the content, for newsletters and also for the content at Facebook, Twitter and MySpace (Social-Profiles). In special cases also for promotion-stuff of C-Heads Magazine – like flyers, folders, posters, cards, projections and also for public relations work (PR), like e.g. newspapers, print-magazines, events, exhibitions and presentations. C-Heads and their owners don´t sell your images and interviews without your personal permission. Note, that you have to be the only copyright-owner of the images, text, music (…) to submit them. Basically, you keep all rights to your submissions. However, in the interest of maintaining quality, we retain the right to make spelling/grammatical/visual changes to your work and to use them for the promotion of C-Heads Magazine. C-Heads and their editors also retain the right to add annotations as we see fit. You agree, by the acknowledgement of this disclaimer, to not hold C-Heads and their owners responsible for any injury, mental or physical, resulting from the publishing of your submission. Also, if anyone sues you for slander from an content you submit that we decide to publish, you agree to not hold C-Heads and their owners liable. Lastly, C-Heads cannot guarantee that every submission will be published.
Linkin policy
C-Heads.com reserves the right to withdraw our permission at any time. Permission is granted on condition that the following rules are observed: the link must point to the homepage of the C-Heads Magazine. In exceptional cases, the link may point to another, specifically designated page of the C-Heads website. This requires prior written approval. The contracting party must ensure that the C-Heads webpage is reloaded in full each time the link is selected and that it is displayed in its own window, not in a frame on the target page. The contracting party shall inform the authors of C-Heads that the link has been inserted, or that the target page has been installed on a webserver, by sending an e-mail message within 24 hours of setting the link. This message must contain the path (URL) via which the webpage containing the link can be accessed. Separate, explicit permission must be obtained if you wish to use one of the images of an artist for a link.
Copyright / Content
All content, this means text (interviews, reviews, reports and articles) and data (images, layout, design) on C-Heads Magazine (www.c-heads.com) are protected by copyright and may be covered by other restrictions as well. C-Heads Magazine retains all rights, including copyright, in data, images, documentation, text and other information contained in these files (collectively, the “Materials”). Copyright and other proprietary rights may be held by individuals or entities other than, or in addition to C-Heads Magazine.
Copying or redistribution in any manner for personal usage, non-commercial and commercial use, including non-commercial and commercial publication, or for personal gain is generally strictly prohibited. Please note, that you always need a written permission from one of the C-Heads Magazine Art Directors, if you still want to use and/or publish one of our articles, interviews or reviews on your own website, blog, print-publication, TV or on Radio. Special case: if you want to ‘promote’ C-Heads Magazine on your website, blog or inside print-publications, then you are allowed to use small excerpts of the content (max. 1000 characters / entry), a screenshot and provide a clickable and findable link to C-Heads Magazines (www.c-heads.com) below the excerpt. General privacy policy

Copyright/Law issues
If you discover photos, images, text or other contents on one of the sites of C-Heads Magazine, which are under your personal (single) copyright (or of your company) and you never gave a permission for an usage at C-Heads.com or on the social profiles and print-releases of C-Heads Magazine, contact us immediately. Please provide us also with the evidence of your copyright. C-Heads Magazine will immediately contact the artist (uploader) of the specific content to clarify the legal situation and initiate legal steps if necessary. Disciplinary warning letters via e-mail to one of the e-mail addresses of C-Heads Magazine are not accepted or allowed, only via post with an uncharged response possibility of 16 days for verifying your legal claim and to take legal advice. Charged disciplinary letters are not accepted without personal consultation and the prior consent of one of CEO’s of C-Heads Magazine by phone (see number overhead) and full details of the legal situation. With the usage (this means also visiting, loading and transferring) the online- and print-contents of C-Heads Magazine, you accept this agreement. Place of jurisdiction: Vienna (Austria/Europe).”
