There is great news from Christian Löffler. The talented German producer is about to release a new album called “Lys” and beforehand here on C-Heads we have an exclusive song premiere out of it: “The End” – in collaboration with Josephine Philip, who also wrote the song.
“I’ve always had an affinity for video game arcades. Growing up in the 90’s I have fond early memories of “Spectrum” the dark, dirty arcade down the road from my crib in Northbridge. It was not a well-kept establishment but the flashing lights and erratic sounds made its dustier corners a moot point. Nowadays it’s hard to turn a corner pop-culturally without being reminded of those fond pre-adolescent times.”
We are happy to showcase another story of London based Taiwanese origin photographer Steven (Hao-Yang) Lai. His visual language pours with a sense of capturing the delicate beauty of women, showing them with different emotional expressions.
Teamwork. That’s it. That’s the tagline. And that’s what we have here today, in the form of the latest single from Toronto-based producer ATTLAS. “Half Light” the third track from his brand new album, “Lavender God” which just dropped on mau5trap this Friday, is a swelling synth number that is immediate yet employs a gorgeous sense of space.
Kush K aka Catia, Pascal, Paul and Nicola are all about strong vibes! They record in the middle of the night, cut their songs live and usually just go with the first take. It’s a foolproof way to keep the energy high, the music visceral and the recordings honest. You can feel this on their debut single Forever Only.
“We wandered the area of St. Michel, and specifically rue Mouffetard, and the Jarden des Plantes. We explored churches, cafes, parks, and the streets. The cold autumn day was perfect… with occasionally sun popping through.”
We love analogue images. There is something so special about the shots that cannot be repeated like with a phone. Tel Aviv based self-taught photographer Mike Ivnitsky still had an unfinished film roll in his camera and decided to meet with Anastasia who he hasn´t seen for a while.
“Once again I walked on Scotland’s hills and glens, the magic of my ancestors myths pulls me like no other land. Now being back in the country of my birth nothing left than to pen, still feeling the sand of a white beach in my hand.”
“This shoot was so magical – I had been dreaming of working at this amazing location for quite some time, and was ecstatic when the opportunity finally manifested.” Jessica Wertheim laughs while telling us about her newest stunning C-Heads Exclusive.
This year the X Games brought warmer than usual weather to Aspen, Colorado. The winter X Games was a perfect blend of winter sports and an upbeat lineup. Rae Sremmurd opened up Friday night with back to back hits.
“I saw Ola’s photo on instagram and immediately fell in love with her timeless beauty.” recalls photographer Kasia Sasinowska and decided to reach out to Ola Chrabol when booking a ticket to Warsaw. She was welcomed by the city and Ola with a fabulous shooting and she left the place knowing that it wouldn´t be the last time they worked together.
“I’m Kenneth Tini, a Parisian photographer and I am particularly interested in film photography.” inroduces Kenneth his newest series where he teamed up with breathtaking beauty Gala Martinez.
I haven´t been creative in a while. No words come out of my brain worth to be written down. Everything has already been said and written down. And while being stuck in the rat race of life, all my energy goes into keeping up with keeping it all together.
The days are always too short. The hours run like sand through our fingers. The faster time becomes the more precious those moments become where time stands still. Like in those images by Tiffany Roubert where she captures Sundays with her love.
