I am not scared of my skin, I am scared in my skin. 37 years in this skin and I am just getting to know her. Our first date. The seamless state from sweat to sea. A life behind the scenes, a life behind the lens, a life behind static. Life as I know it has changed. Let me out of this skin, and into the deep blue. Let me thrive on the anxious. Thrive on the chills. Dream between the sets. Centering my thoughts on the horizon as I let the wind take my breath.
