Deeper eye contact can awaken empathy, soften judgments, and create a quiet sense of closeness between two people. Today, we meet model Kai Hoare through her gaze, and we’re drawn into a beautiful and sensual story she created together with photographer Arthur Da Costa Oddos. A series that invites us to slow down for a second – to drift, to feel, to simply be.

Joy doesn’t always need a plan. And doing nothing isn’t always a waste. We’ve been trained to believe that every minute must be filled, optimized, turned into something productive — and we feel uneasy when it isn’t. But not every moment needs to be improved. Sometimes you just have to let things happen.

While outside the world may be wrapped in winter, snow settling quietly upon rooftops and fields, the cold brushing the face like a sudden awakening, we turn inward for a moment, toward warmth, toward stillness. 

We’ve been missing Arthur Da Costa Oddo’s work for a while, but today we’re thrilled to share a fresh new series from him. This time, he captures Toni Majdell of Ford Models Los Angeles in a sun-drenched shoot that flows from golden beach moments to after-dark vibes.
