Once neighbors in a charming old apartment in Hamburg, a city known for its musicals and vibrant dance scene, Maria Bode and Carsten Thun first connected through a message. Back then, Maria was still dancing and had reached out for some photos. A few shoots grew into a friendship, and over time, she found herself drawn behind the lens — falling in love with capturing dancers instead of being the one leaping through the frame.
