It’s been almost five years since Daniel Morres and Sina last met for a C-Heads shoot. Now, they’ve reunited — and the beautiful part? The connection was still there, shaped by all that’s changed in between — a little more grounded, a little more sure of itself. “It didn’t feel like a typical photo or video shoot — more like catching up with an old friend and creating some art along the way,” Sina shares.

The year began anew for photographer Daniel Morres with a return to vibrant Cape Town. “I’m really grateful to be back and able to work here again. And I finally got to shoot with my friend Johanna, who I met here last year.” This time, under the golden kiss of the Cape Town sun, they knew they couldn’t let the opportunity slip away.

“It’ s my first time being here and I fell in love with the city.” photographer Daniel Morres tells enthused about Cape Town, the place he has relocated for the next few months. A new place sharpens and challenges our perception and therefore gives new inspiration and his first photo shooting, with model Dominique Naidoo, in his temporary home gave Daniel the opportunity to explore new sensory impressions thanks to amazing scenery.

“I am mostly motivated and creatively inspired by the job I do as a professional acrobat, and by the people I have around me. Due to Corona I did not only lose my work but also my social life all at once. So I had to find motivation and creativity within myself. I think I managed that, and now coming back I feel even stronger and more grateful for the little things in life and and don´t take them for granted.”

“The series called “Unknown” took place on a sunday afternoon a while ago.” tells us Daniel Morres who prefers black and white photography. “It was one of those hot days were everything feels endless and we captured a raw and industrial vibe.” Starring Tanja Weber.
