“Sommer originally left America due to all the social and political tension in the States between the black community and police, politicians.” Roxana Neacsu tells of Sommer who is a 20yr old model from America. “So she became a traveler, traveled to the UK, Croatia, Italy, Germany and started her modeling portfolio in 2020 while she was in Germany.”

“Living in an utopian society that wants to be „dystopian” searching for perfection on social media made me want to shoot different people that have something to say through their bodies. No filters, just skin, pores, flaws and life. Because life is outside the box.” explains Roxana Neacsu, 26-year young photographer based in Bucharest, Romania the inspiration of her work. And we immediately get caught by her shooting with Georgiana Timus. A unique intimacy comes into being between the model and the viewer and not just because of the nudeness.

Roxana met Denisa, a professional ballet dancer who became a ballet teacher at the age of just 17 and together they wanted to create a visual story about ballet, femininity, grace and intimacy using Denisa`s abilities captured through Roxana`s lens.
