Scott Coniston

This time round photographer Scott Coniston worked on a gripping photoset in Bed Stuy, Brooklyn with actor and filmmaker Shannon Sullivan. Shot on film, vivid colour alternates with timeless black and white. Unimposing corners of the flat become exciting scenery, daily routine the stage for a chance to experiment.

We love productive days. But we also love the other side when we let time lapse away, and the day is characterized by nothing else than hanging around without thinking about the next thing to process, daydreaming, and living as if you had all the time in the world to waste.

Brooklyn based photographer Scott Coniston teamed up with artist and model Cece Sprout to catch some rays of sunshine. “Her energy, laughter and warmth drove away every cloud in the sky, and by the end of the shoot, I swear even the sullen birthday boy had cracked a smile.”
