Behind the scenes with ALT BLK ERA at Budapest’s Sziget Festival
The two sisters – who jointly comprise the British electro-alt-rock duo ALT BLK ERA and are kind of hilarious – are riding high on a wave that according to them precedes their own band, and hopefully will outlive it as well. Pulling from a diverse pool of influences that ranges from Rico Nasty to Slipknot, the two have honed in on a sound that Nyrobi describes as, “rock, but drum and bass, pop.”
