Premiere: Between What Was and What Might Be – The Fourth Wall’s Memories of the Future
What happens to our dreams of the future when the future itself becomes harder to imagine? Perhaps we simply begin to imagine differently. Less in grand promises and perfect worlds and more in fragments: a place we would like to return to, a person we hope will still be there, a version of ourselves we haven’t met yet. The future has always been partly fiction anyway — something built from memory, longing and whatever we choose to believe might still be possible.
