Photographer Yanis Dupleix, embarked upon an audacious photographic endeavor, a series imbued with a raw, almost feral aesthetic, set amidst the breathtaking cityscape from a rooftop. Captured in this untamed tableau was none other than the beguiling model, Kate, her allure amplified by the daring location.

“The individual is buried in the energy of a new city, and is slowly merging into it. These portraits aim to reflect the hidden emotions this character feels towards an unknown environment. They aim to capture the metamorphosis where she becomes one with the city of Paris.”

Photographer Yanis Dupleix started taking pictures only 6 months ago when he bought two cameras, a point and shoot and a reflex camera, on a flea market. “At first I used only the point and shoot one because it had a flash and it was easier. But then I spent a weekend in the north of France with my friend Claire who is a model.
