Snow, ice, darkness, the Vikings – ask a foreigner what comes to mind when they hear “Denmark” and you will likely get at least one of those answers. Today, Copenhagen-based pop artist Soleima is here to shatter the icy stereotypes that may come to mind with her newest video for the sun-soaked “Paper”. Formally known as Sarah Mariegaard, the Dane creates a unique blend of indie, pop, and dance that she uses as a way to explore the very essence of being human.
