I got as excited as a little kid when I found out about French shoe designer Amélie Pichard who launched her brand in 2011. Taking inspiration from bygone times her designs are playful and sensual, “dreamy but realistic, masculine but terribly sophisticated”. We see fleecy materials, candy colors and shining details .With the wonderful SS14 collection “Amélie plays with the clichés of à woman fantasized by a bully with his imagination fueled by B movies and vintage erotic magazines”. Photographed by Nicolas Coulomb we have a new favorite over there.
