“Musik Gewinnt Freunde” is one of the best labels around when it comes to emotional electronic music. The two creatives behind Nico Plagemann and Christian Hilscher, who are also known and loved as Kollektiv Turmstrasse, started the label in 2006 and the labels’ name is its philosophy: “Musik Gewinnt Freunde connects people who share a deep love for electronic music. It brings friends together and it makes new ones. Being inspired by the people around it, its’ sound is like a summer rain. Warm and melodic, bright and yet a little longing. It tells the things that remain unspoken. Listen with your heart.” Oh yes! The release of MGF025 – Various Artists #1 – 2014 (Release Date: 24.03.2014 – Digital Only) contains a track by Berlin based Dj and producer Jonas Saalbach who also dropped out a visual for “Monarch” directed by Moritz Adlon. Watching the video we feel they have been maybe inspired a bit by Jon Hopkins´s “Collider” whose video was one of the most capturing in a while. Probably it is due the dark mooded wilder dancing scenes from the second half starring the two dancers Anna Luise Recke and Rainer Müntiga. All in all “Monarch” is an atmospheric and unobtrusive track – just perfect for a warm up before heading into the night. Enjoy.

Hello from my planet! I love nature, freedom, dancing, traveling, music, reading, chilling, cats and the woods. What makes me happy is healthy food, a good night out, long walks in the forest and getting lost in the sound of nature.
