“Shoot location was across the street from the church in the movie Kill Bill, out in the desert, north of LA.  I’d been a big fan of the movie Kill Bill and thought it’d be an amazing backdrop for a photo shoot.  I’d known of the location for awhile and finally ventured out there during some location scouting, on my last trip to LA.  Once there I discovered numerous security cameras, mounted all around the church and a big no trespassing sign.  Fortunately, there were super cool abandoned structures across the way.  I’m a huge fan of ghost towns, so I decided to use that as my shoot location instead.  It truly inspired me, and I’m always inspired by locations.  But as a consolation, at the end of the shoot, Jessica & I did a candid shoot on film with the church as a backdrop, ensuring we weren’t trespassing.  It just happened to be in the background!  She continued being a riot! ”
