Der Rhein. A river that runs through the heart of Europe and through the German city of Cologne. Along its banks, photographer Leonie Braun and jewellery designer Veronika Šola found the setting for Fluvial — a story shaped by movement, texture and permanence.
Against river-worn stones, bare skin and simple silhouettes, Veronika’s handcrafted jewellery becomes almost part of the landscape. Heavy silver links, sculptural rings and organic surfaces echo the textures of the shore, while soft fabrics and muted tones bring a sense of ease to the images.
Leonie photographs model Caroline in quiet, close moments, letting metal, water, fabric and skin meet without feeling overly styled. The series carries a sense of elegance and timelessness, brought to life by Caroline’s natural beauty and presence.
