Let’s step into the new year with some nice music! We just had a pleasure to hear the latest piece by Barcelona based producer Fernando Lagreca. All we can say that it’s just the perfect music for cold sunny mornings when you are dreaming of warm summer sun…

Even though Fernando Lagreca was born in Uruguay, he has been living in his beloved city Barcelonafor over 10 years. He is one of those artists who came a long way and whose music is constatly changing and reflects his personality. Every record of Fernando sounds like a statement and it’s a bit different from the others. Exactly what we love – the diversity of art.

Fernando’s music cannot be put in one box of genre. In his production there can be found traces of microhouse, clicks and cuts, techno but also a bit of pop or ambient music. As he told himself in the interview for Sounds and colors, every album of his happens to be very divergent…

“Well, even though the albums are different, I still am the same person and yes, this new album has elements of continuity and elements of departure [with my other work]. It is more synthetic maybe than Cool Hunter (Ginotonico, 2010), and colder than Childhood Is All We Have (Irregular, 2012), and of course totally different regarding my more ambient-ish oriented ones (i.e. Nadador or Colpi di Sole, both for Autoplate). My inspiration is the life I am living day by day. That life is 100% bittersweet, so I produced an album 100% bittersweet as well.”

With the latest record titled Control LP he presents his ability to combine chillwave, slow beats with elements of pop songs-writing and 80s disco feeling. The whole records is pretty slow, but really good! Rolling basslines are perfectly accompanied by bold synth sounds and Fernando voice, sometimes there is also guitar riffs. Despite the record’s slow bpm it would be great for dancefloors just for the stunning groove in most of the tracks. We can only recommend you to give a listen to it!

Control LP has been released on Irregular label in November 2014.

Very interesting! I started listening to it when I play in an online casino, do you listen to music when you play in an online casino?

I’ve actually been hooked on https://pin-up-pakistan.com/ lately—it’s my go-to online casino. I love having some chillwave or retro 80s beats playing in the background while I’m spinning slots or betting on cricket. It just sets the perfect vibe, you know? There’s something about that music style that keeps me calm and focused.

If you’re looking for a good platform to try, I highly recommend Pin Up. It’s got a sleek interface, tons of games, and even live casino options if you’re into that. Plus, they offer some great bonuses, so it’s worth a shot! What’s your favorite game to play while you’re listening?
