“It never crossed our mind, to orientate ourselves towards a sound, that is currently in.”

You know this habbit that we all have to click from one thing to another – and there is hardly anything that catches our attention for more than 3 seconds,  let alone that we really watch a music video with our full attention till the end. But for this one I leaned back on my sofa and although there is not much of an action happening I was starring spellbound to the screen until the very last minute, absorbing this peaceful and stunning scenery shown in the new music video of Dawa directed and edited by Lampenschirm. A sparkling musical pearl from Austria. John Dawa, Barbara Wiesinger, Laura Pudelek and Oama Richson´s debut album “This Should Work” has definitely worked and their second album “Psithurisma” ( which literally means rustling of leaves) is about to be released on the 27th of February.  And for that they have teamed up with the renowned Austrian producers Patrick Pulsinger and Oliver Brunbauer and retreated to the Styrian Schrattenberg. The forerunner of the album is called “On the Run” and we immediately fell in love with the soft sounds paired with the fantastic and warm voice of John. Just stunning!

Hello from Berlin! I love freedom, travelling, long train rides, Stefan Zweig books, cats, colours, writing postcards, music, and movies à la Woody Allen and Wes Anderson. What makes me really happy is the seaside, sunrises and sunsets and having lots of time!
