“I carry this admiration through to my work, relating these ideas to photography and working with film rather than digital format. I specifically ask the girls that I work with to come looking as natural as possible: no jewellery or piercings, no fake tan, extremely minimal makeup (if any) and simple, plain clothes that do not detract from subject or setting. I find that by creating images in this way, capturing attention to detail is at its best.
