As in the last campaign Ilvie Wittek is once more the face for Veronica Dreyer´s new SS15 campaign. The Vienna based swimwear label stands for elegant, minimalistic design and superior quality in material and manufacture. “Our concept emphasizes the timeless values of our design, with a strong focus on our key attributes — simplicity, elegance and femininity.” We had a 5 minutes chat with Veronica to talk about fashion, Vienna and future plans.
How would you describe your aesthetics?
Minimalistic elegance with an ambition for timeless value.
The best thing about fashion?
It’s ability to underline and strengthen ones self-perception by embodying how one sees oneself and thus want to be seen by others.
What do you believe makes a quality article of clothing?
The combination of great design and fabrication. Plus the knowledge of where it comes from.
Your next travel stop?
Berlin, to see some friends.
The best thing about Vienna? And the worst?
I think Vienna is a great city to live and work. Surely there are downsides to it but in comparison to other cities they are negligible. I like the melancholy of the city, it’s somethings thats also reflected in the label Veronica Dreyer.
Where do see yourself in the future?
I’m to preoccupied with the present to think about that question.
