“It’s simple but intimate. I wanted to capture something that reminisces those early days of being in love: the looks, the touches, the vibe of being in a bubble together. The fragility. It’s raw and real.” begins photographer Félix Vivier as he tells us about the images taken with his girlfriend, model Asia.
“It’s the first shoot I did with the love of my life. We met in Seoul about 3 months ago, and it was love at first sight. The kind of love we both thought was reserved for the movies. We both travel a lot for work, and for a while, we’ve only been able to meet in different hotel rooms across the world. This series was shot during a cozy morning in a hotel room in Bali—just us, the camera, and a whole lot of feels.
I’m happy to say we’re planning on finally moving together to Barcelona by the end of the year,” Felix concludes his anecdote, and we wish them both all the best for the next chapter of their love story.
The series is entirely shot on film on my AE-1, using silbersalz35 solution.
