Photographer Josh Hedge and Stylist is Laura May tried forever to organize a shooting together, but how life goes at times always something else comes up – or like in this case, you never happen to be in the same place. “After what was close to a year of trying to organize to link up and do a shoot with Laura the stylist, we had something go wrong every time it came to then crunch of actually doing a shoot. Both of us like to travel around so we found it hard for us to both be in the same spot, until of course we both happened to be overseas haha. She told me about her friend Cisco that she would love to have shot during her only spare day in Bali and I happily agreed. Cisco and her husband George Gorrow live in an absolute slice of heaven in Bali so a location to shoot around was as simple as can be, surrounded by flowing rivers, A creek that backs onto acres of rice paddocks and forest.. It was safe to say we were at home amongst nature. We began our shoot super early morning in the golden lit fields, but not early enough to beat the working rice farmers (they literally must have been up before dawn). Everything just flowed smoothly, no stress, a nice combination of creative minds and we had everything done before we knew it and were sharing stories over a nice fruit platter and cup of tea by mid-morning.
