“We spent few hours in a lovely apartment in Pimplico, London, during Allan’s visit last month. It hasn’t been easy to catch the English sun for some good natural light, but when it sometimes hit my hair and my skin it felt good and the pictures came out expressive. Allan’s films contribute to that intimate feeling… you never know what’s going on inside the camera until you have the rolls developed, which is magic in some kind of way, so you really concentrate on what you’re doing and you don’t waste time, you just go with the flow. I really just lived the place and he followed me with few directions according to how he wanted the light to be on me. It’s been all quiet and peaceful, warm… it felt like there is no future, just that moment and I think photography is all about that. To live that moment forever.”
