“You make me feel so high
I’ve lost my sight
So don’t let me down”

The other day someone asked me how we chose the music on our site. What the criteria´s are. If it´s the genre or what else. To be honest I can´t put it into words. I can only sum it up in one simple sentence. I have to feel the sound; so either music captures you or not. Which of course is always something quite personal. But in this flood of songs being produced there are definitely the ones where you can feel that besides a perfect production framework this magic ingredient of pure passion and talent have been added and they bring the sound to a rolling boil. The track “Legs” of Mark Rainey who is a self-taught guitarist, pianist, singer/songwriter and producer from Serbia is one of those songs that got me immediately and we are more than happy to premiere the rad video that comes with it on C-Heads. Inspired by unique, artistic and beautiful girls, Mark wrote this dreamy and sensual song. “When I started working on the lyrics I wanted to celebrate the beauty of love, passion and desire. I have always loved dancing, sleeping and romance, which represent my ideal of freedom. And exactly those three words were on a piece of paper as the whole scenario when we started shooting the video for Legs.” Two years ago today, his first solo album entitled “Farewell Sweetie” was released. After that, Mark started a new chapter of his music career, incorporating hard bass lines, vintage keyboards, melancholic guitar riffs and electronic drums, all suggesting that his next album would bring an alternative R&B sound. Legs has been on repeat for a dozen of times now and only after falling in love with it already I read his biography and figured out that he was born without four fingers on his left hand, so learning how to play the guitar was a great challenge, but he proved to both himself and the people around him that nothing is impossible and that everything can be achieved with a bit of effort. Props to Mark and your song makes me feel so high, I´ve lost my sight.
