Angelina Jolie meets Cameron Diaz . Singer and model Kirsten, half Scottish, half Greek, was hanging out with photographer Georgios Tatakis at her place in Alimos, located by the beach and near Athens. “I can say that she’s got a sweet, thick, mellow voice after a small private a Capella session she gave me.” tells us Georgios who has lived in Edinburgh for four years and was happy to wallow in memories together with Kirsten. But more importantly – they came up with this pretty rad story exclusive for us and Kirsten told us about focusing on her career and what her cat taught her.

What are your plans & hopes for the future with regard to your music?
I aspire doing more things and focusing more in my career overall. Currently discussing possible collaborations with artists for projects that might work and be revealed in the near future.

Would you rather have less work to do, or more work you actually enjoy doing?
More work definitely

You are happiest when?
When a job is complete and I see that the outcome is of good quality . (and of course when things are going my way ) haha

Which is worse, failing or never trying?
Worse is never trying because if you don’t you have failed 100% . Plus a risky jump can be the most fun you’ve had in a long time. My cat taught me that ;-)

On a Saturday night we can usually find you?
On Saturday nights I usually prefer a night in rather than a night out. I found myself being in that moment of my life that I value peace of mind more than partying. If you asked me a couple of years ago my answer would be different . I have to admit that when you are trying to be creative and productive, especially when you are involved in different industries (modelling and performing) and in a number of projects, too much night life can be a bit wearing. This does not mean of course that I won’t enjoy a good night out, on occasion.

Your 5 favorite locations in Athen?
1.One of my favorite locations is Plaka, a historical neighbourhood – a village within the city – perfect for walks, coffee, or lunch. 2. Areopagus (or Mars) marble Hill a great source of energy for me, where I can recharge in the magical ambient. 3. The south coast – the riviera of Athens, which also happens to be where I live, because I can enjoy the sea view in the mornings. 4. Vouliagmeni Lake, a unique nature’s jewel, with caves and clear, warm waters – a rejuvenating natural spa whose minerals are constantly being replenished. 5. The Temple of Poseidon at Sounion. It’s the best half-day trip you can do out of Athens, The sunsets and the full moons will not leave you disappointed.

What do you wish for in the new year?
That with gentleness we will overcome anger. With generosity we will overcome meanness. With truth we will overcome deceit. (Buddha)
