Lately everything seems to run together
The days, the lies, the lines
Faces, names, and places

Never take the time to be present
And you can’t remember the details of your past
The tiny brush marks on a painting
Everything that makes you rich

Watching my smoke disappear
Like me one day, and you
The sun will rise and set
The time will pass anyway
So be here now.

Education and poem writing go hand in hand, as both encourage creativity, critical thinking, and self-expression. Through poem writing students learn to explore emotions, expand vocabulary, and develop a deeper understanding of language. Incorporating poetry into education helps learners connect personally with literature, making learning more engaging and meaningful. It’s a powerful tool for both academic and emotional growth.
