With its hypnotising sound “Words Over Yours” becomes branded on our minds and adds to our music premiere list.

The track is taken from London based electric duo Leiik’s forthcoming debut EP, due for release on 5th February 2016 through South-East London label and artist collective squareglass. The video was shot by long-time squareglass collaborator Barbora Mrazkova, Adam Vopicka and Andrea Katonova, who all collaborated on the visuals, whose work focuses on ideas of identity and representations, where process and transformation play important roles. Barbora explains: “When we started working on the visual element of Leiik, we thought it would be interesting to use ideas that come from portrait aesthetics, and try them in this different environment of moving image. There is something very exposed and engaging in the simplicity of the footage, a grey area between fantasy and documentary, which we felt correlates very strongly with Leiik’s music.”
