“Music is what you make of it, but it will always mean more if it is honest.”

Joseph Law, aka T R I P C I K , an unsigned electronic, experimental pop artist & music producer based between London and Berlin, drops  debut track “The Black Snow”. A wonderful song that seduces you and causes goose bumps. “The presentation of something more than just a musician, but a true artist; working with everyone who can collaborate to make all aspects of art. A cohesion of collective consciousness and innovation. What I want to achieve is greatness, in all aspects from the music, promotional art to the stage shows. I want people to walk away thinking they have just seen the most immersive and impressive “Show, not gig” of their current experiences. Something that pushes their morals and ethics, that makes them question their worlds”.

What started as a question “How could we carry on with the things we claim to love as we simultaneously destroy them from blind passion?” morphed into the idea “The Black Snow In June”. With the song being more of a ballad of sorts there was a shift in the outlook of what beauty was visually, could there be subtlety of beauty within chaos? Which gave the idea of a domestic violence scene between two lovers. The video was directed by Francesca Castelbuono.

The Release is set for 28th March 2016 in association with indie Record Label, Gash Digital.

Hello from my planet! I love nature, freedom, dancing, traveling, music, reading, chilling, cats and the woods. What makes me happy is healthy food, a good night out, long walks in the forest and getting lost in the sound of nature.

This title really resonates with me. Music has such a powerful way of connecting our emotions. I often find myself lost in melodies that bring back memories or evoke strong feelings. It’s amazing how strings can play such a big role in this. Thank you for sharing this perspective.
