New Orleans based Buku Festival is a two-day music and arts fest which is all about pop culture, underground arts, local food and visual artists. Photographer Eden Shohat was working for green-haired electronic DJ and producer Mija and decided to stay for the rest of the day at the festival to take some nice photos.

Hello from my planet! I love nature, freedom, dancing, traveling, music, reading, chilling, cats and the woods. What makes me happy is healthy food, a good night out, long walks in the forest and getting lost in the sound of nature.

As a visitor to the site, this text left me with a pleasant impression of the lively, authentic atmosphere of the festival. It is not overloaded with details, but it conveys the mood of the event well — a combination of music, art, local culture, and freedom of expression. It is particularly interesting that the story is presented through the photographer’s eyes, as this adds a human dimension and makes the narrative more personal. You get the feeling that Buku Festival is not just a concert, but a space for creative people and spontaneous decisions. This approach to content, where atmosphere and experience are important, is close to my heart, which is why it is well received on platforms with a thoughtful presentation, such as https://www.lex.vodka/ , where style, culture, and the overall impression are also valued, rather than a dry list of facts.
