Backstage Each X Other Paris Fashion Week AW16

At the show of Each X Other in the beautifully historic and famous Montmartre in Paris, abrupt quotes written on jackets, shirts, and shoes were a common quality announcing romance and rebellion. Hippie influences with overalls and plain de-saturated turtle necks, with the quote “Love is a verb”. There were also off the shoulder crop tops with matching vests, strained red eyes, and thinner biker jacket and pants. In the words “Modern dead ideas” “the seagulls are modern plane on fire” one can see this as the seagulls are low planes that are annoyances to people who are trying to enjoy a break, a vacation, a beach. The dead ideas are thrown at you as birds fly down and bother people taking a break from any sort of stress. With the addition of wet hair the girls look more stressed out, combined with the powerful quotes, it’s as if the models have put forth a lot of stress to say what they want to say.
